TAXONOMY: PLANTAE; ANTHOPHYTA (=Angiospermae); MAGNOLIOPSIDA (=Dicotyledones); DILLENIIDAE; Ebenales; SAPOTACEAE
SIGNIFICANCE NOTES -
BIODIVERSITY: Nationally and globally endangered (both seriously). Comment: Known only from a small site near Tamarua on Mangaia.
GENERAL NOTE: A genus of 3 species with 1 in Hawaii-Mangaia-Raivavae-Rapa, 1 in Tahiti and 1 in Henderson Island.
