COMMON NAMES: Oberonia Orchid

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE Vanuatu - Makatea(Tuamotus); s. to New Caledonia

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; Land, mountains (++++), Epiphyte

KEY FEATURES: A small orchid on trees (an epiphyte). To 20cm with ascending alternate ±overlapping leaves, to 6x1cm. Flower-stalk terminal, pendent, to 10cm. Flowers minute, cream to yellow-green, 3mmØ.
