COMMON NAMES: Caribbean Pine, Caribean Pine

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE Bahamas - Cuba - Belize - Nicaragua

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Naturalised; Land, lowlands - mountains (++++)

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: Forestry

KEY FEATURES: A narrow-conical, pine tree, to 30m. BRANCHES typically small, and up-curved. NEEDLES usually 3, to 14cm, dark green.
