GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE Mexico

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Not naturalised; Land, lowlands

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: Ornamental leaves

KEY FEATURES: Hanging stems to 1m, densely packed with small almost-cylindrical leaves. LEAVES fleshy, waxy, oval-cylindrical, 25x8mm, detach and grow. FLOWERS terminal cluster of 6-12 FLOWERS, deep rose, 12mm long red, 12mm long.
