COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Not naturalised; Land, lowlands

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: Food (Fruit 1+)

SIMILAR SPECIES: Purple Mombin (Spondias purpurea, NOT presently known in the Cook Islands, is a more desirable fruit tree) has fruit purple, dark- or bright-red, orange, yellow, or red-and-yellow (vs golden-yellow).
