TAXONOMY: PLANTAE; ANTHOPHYTA (=Angiospermae); MAGNOLIOPSIDA (=Dicotyledones); HAMAMELIDAE; Urticales; MORACEAE
GENERAL NOTE: In ancient Fiji the leaves of this plant were cooked and eaten as a vegetable with human flesh, hence the name anthropophagorum, literally "eat with man". Fiji name: Malawaci.
