TRADITIONAL NAMES: Tiare Mo‘orea (RR MK MT), Tiare Taina Mo‘orea (MG), Taina Mo‘orea (AT AK)

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE Himalaya - Burma

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Not naturalised; Land, lowlands

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: Ornamental flowers

SIMILAR SPECIES: Padakaki (Tabernaemontana pandacaqui) single-form has leaves with conspicuous veins between the main lateral veins (vs. inconspicuous tertiary veins); corolla white or pale yellow (vs. white); corolla has stamens attached above middle (vs. below middle).
