General Information

COMMON NAMES: Great Filmy-fern

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; Land, mountains (++)

KEY FEATURES: A medium-sized ground fern, to 50cm. FROND STALK hairy, without wings. FROND BLADE oval to 30x20cm; branching 3x, primary branches initially opposite then alternate, longest mid-blade; final leaflets (=pinnules) slender, almost linear, and ~curved.
