COMMON NAMES: Trichomanes caudatum

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; S.Group - Rarotonga only (rare); Land, mountains (+), on trunks of tree-ferns, mid-elevation

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: ; Nationally endangered (moderately)

KEY FEATURES: A delicate perching fern.

SIMILAR SPECIES: Trichomanes apiifolium grows on the ground (vs on treeferns and ?trees); fronds tufted (vs spaced); stipe hairy (vs not hairy); to 50cm (vs 20cm)
