COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Not naturalised; Land, lowlands

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: Food (Fruit 3+)

KEY FEATURES: Annual vine to 12 feet. FLOWERS large, blue-violet. FRUIT pod to 1m.

SIMILAR SPECIES: Similar to the Southern Pea or Cowpea.
