General Information

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; Marine, near-shore

KEY FEATURES: Very small, to 2cm Total Diameter. Scaly disc 2mm diam., 5 arms 10mm, slightly broadest away from base. White except for light tan on dorsal arm spines. disc with overlapping scales and five pairs of large radial shields. Size and structure very similar to Amphipholis, but the present genus has 4-5 oral papillae.
