COMMON NAMES: Inner Hermit-anemone, Hermit-crab Anemone

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE e.Africa - Indonesia - French Polynesia - w.Central America

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; Marine, near-shore

KEY FEATURES: The column is broad, to 3cm, while the crown is only half as high and broad. They have about 100 tentacles that are camouflaged cream and brown.
