General Information

COMMON NAMES: Orange-lined Swallowtail

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE e.Africa - Japan - Cooks - Hawai‘i, and Caribbean

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; Marine, near-shore

KEY FEATURES: Narrow elongate body, to 25mmx5mm. Velvet black with broad green lines and fine orange lines, including a transverse one on the head. Posterior has a long left tail-like flap and shorter right flap.
