General Information

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE Taiwan - Cooks - Tuamotu - Hawai‘i

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; Marine, near-shore

KEY FEATURES: Carapace 6x9mm.

SIMILAR SPECIES: Very similar to Chlorodiella nigra, often thought to be one species. Separated by experts shape of anterolateral teeth against age, and shape of first pleopod of the male.
