General Information

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE e.Africa - Easter Island - Hawai‘i

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; Marine, near-shore

KEY FEATURES: Gp.01 Unattached circular fungiid coral, <5cm diam. with a single central mouth. Brown or greenish in colour. Main septa in unequal cycles with minute teeth. Costa conspicuously alternating in size on the coral fringe.
