COMMON NAMES: Inert Oval-urchin

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE circumtropical

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; Marine, near-shore, lagoon and reef-flat moat; In sand under rock fragments

KEY FEATURES: Oval, 4.5x3.5x2m. pale brown to deep red brown, with bright red ambulacral appendages.
