General Information

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE e.Africa - French Polynesia

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; Marine, near-shore

KEY FEATURES: Gp.8 Calices 8mm diameter.

SIMILAR SPECIES: Easily confused with Favites complanata. But complanata usually has larger, subplocoid calices and paliform lobes on the septa.
