General Information

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE e.Africa - Tuamotu

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; Marine, near-shore

KEY FEATURES: Gp.01 Unattached circular fungiid coral, to ??cm diam. with a single central mouth. Main septa cycles are unequal, and have large ±triangular teeth (6-12/cm-CHECK), and slit-like holes. Costa on the underside are unequal, and have conical and spinulose spines.
