Vouchers:
Rarotonga: reported, 10/2005, common in strand scrublands, Fred Brook with ID as Melampus fasciatus in rpt 2005/11. Mangaia: specimen, Sue Ngatokorua, 9/2000, ID G.McCormack as Melampus fasciatus.
