General Information

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE Indonesia - French Polynesia

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; Marine, near-shore

KEY FEATURES: Gp.9 A massive rounded or lobed coral, not brain-like. Valleys short, 4-5mm between ridge-centres, with 1 to 4 indistinct calice centres.

SIMILAR SPECIES: Separable from Platygyra sinensis only by detailed, expert examination.
