General Information

COMMON NAMES: Long-eyed Swimming-Crab

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE e.Africa - Cooks - Tuamotu - Hawai‘i

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; Marine, near-shore

KEY FEATURES: Carapace 45x100mm. Cream with some purple parts, especially the distal chelipeds. Extremely long eye-stalks (48mm) and chelipeds (140mm).
