General Information

COMMON NAMES: Knobby Leather-coral

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; Marine, near-shore

KEY FEATURES: A leathery encrusting coral, with short columns with short lobes and knobs. Greenish-brown. When touched the polyps withdraw and the colony becomes lightens.
