General Information

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE w.Pacific - Cooks - Tuamotu

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; Marine, near-shore

KEY FEATURES: Carapace 12x20mm.

SIMILAR SPECIES: Very closely related to Thalamita admete, possible subspecies, has a smoother almost-glabrous carapace, without transverse ridges, and 4th anterolateral tooth is rudimentary. Chelipeds are also smoother and the ridges are lower.
