COMMON NAMES: Crab-flag Anemone

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE e.Africa - e.Australia - ?Aitutaki - Hawai‘i

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; Marine, near-shore

KEY FEATURES: A soft, compact anemone, 15mm high and broad, with up to 60 arms. Dark sepia in colour with frosted tentacle tips.
