General Information

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE Asia - Cooks - e.Polynesia

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; Brackishwater, stream mouths

KEY FEATURES: A smooth, spinelss, spherical shell, less than 10mm long. Shell is shiny with variable patterns of wavy stripes and/or triangles; columella white, with a yellow-orange edge; aperture mouth white; operculum blue-black with yellow nucleus and horn border.
