GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE Cocos - Pitcairn, Hawai‘i; n. to s.Japan; s. to New Caledonia - Rapa

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; PLUS: S.Group and N.Group. Very common. Lagoons, reef-flat and outer slope to 20m.; Marine, near-shore

KEY FEATURES: To 14cm SL.
