General Information

COMMON NAMES: Narcosis Angelfish

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE Cook Islands

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native, Endemic of Cooks (new species); S.Group only (RR only), ?elsewhere; Marine, near-shore, outer reef-slope below 90m

KEY FEATURES: A wide-oval fish, to 55mm S.L. Yellow (including lips, eye and fins) with a black blotch on the side of the body just above the mid-line.
