TRADITIONAL NAMES: Ava (RR MG AT MT MH PK), Ava / Mo‘omo‘o-ava < Mo‘o-ava < Ava COMMENT: Aitutaki: Mo‘o-ava to 60cm, Ava larger.

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE xxxx; s. to NZ

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; S.Group and N.Group. PLUS: especially MH and TN.; Marine, near-shore, lagoon

KEY FEATURES: To 180cm SL.(RM91) [ 180cm - GBR] Jaws nearly equal.
