Rarotonga: gillnet specimen off Rutaki, head to BPBM, ID confirmed Randall (Sims88); specimen, 120cm TL, speared, 3/00, XXXXX, ID GM/FS - distinctive white edge on entire anal fin. Mangaia: specimen, College, 9/2000, ID GMcC. Pukapuka: informant reports at NBSAP meeting, 2/2004.
