COMMON NAMES: House Gecko

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE se.Asia; EXOTIC EXOTIC circumtropical, incl. Australia - Oceania

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent (c.1990), Naturalised; Land, coastal - lowlands, around dwellings

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: ; Pest

KEY FEATURES: COLOUR dark brown with pale blotches to uniformly pale grey. VOICE a series of loud discrete chirps (~7), or a low gurgling call.
