COMMON NAMES: Pennant Bannerfish, Threeband Pennantfish, Horned Coralfish; German Pazifik-Wimpelfisch; French Poisson-cocher du Pacifique

TRADITIONAL NAMES: Taputapu (RR AT MT AK), Tītī (TS TW), Ika-koti-ā-pōteka (PK)

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE w.India - Pitcairn; n. to s.Japan; s. to New Caledonia

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; PLUS: S.Group and N.Group. Common. In Lagoons and outer reef-slope to 25 metres.; Marine, near-shore

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: Not eaten.

KEY FEATURES: To 18cm SL.
