GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE e.Africa - Tuamotus; n. to s.Japan; s. to Norfolk

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; PLUS: S.Group and N.Group. Uncommon. In lagoons and on outer reef-slope.; Marine, near-shore

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: Not eaten.

KEY FEATURES: To 18cm SL.(RM91) [ 23cm - GBR]
