GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE circumtropical - temperate zones, incl. e.Africa to Fr.Polynesia, Hawai‘i - Galapagos; n. to s.Japan; s. to Lord Howe (to 40°S)

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; N.Group and S.Group.; Marine, pelagic
