COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; S.Group, uncommon; N.Group, common. PLUS:; Marine, near-shore, Midwater and outer reef-slope below 10m

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: ; Injurous spines - moderate

KEY FEATURES: display colour repeated flashes bright yellow & purple lines about head & median fins.
