SIGNIFICANCE LIST: Prized food, poisonous spines; Poisonous spines - serious

POSITIVE SIGNIFICANCE: Prized food, poisonous spines
NEGATIVE SIGNIFICANCE: Poisonous spines - serious. Comments: Injury from spines is relieved rapidly by any "white toothpaste" (Mangaia, Sue Ngatokorua, 5/2000).
