General Information

COMMON NAMES: Panatela Silverside, Crescent Silverside, Panatella Silverside

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE Indonesia - n.Cooks; n. to Philippines; s. to Fjii

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; N.Group only. Small schooling fish. PLUS: TN lagoon.; Marine, near-shore

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: Common in live-baitfish hauls from Penrhyn.

KEY FEATURES: To 9cm SL. Dark above, silvery sides. Narrow-oval with round cross-section.
