GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE e.Africa - Ducie, Hawai‘i - Mexico; n. to s.Japan; s. to Lord Howe - Rapa

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; S.Group and N.Group. Common. PLUS:; Marine, near-shore, lagoons and outer reef-slope

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: Favoured during spawning season only, esp. MH.

KEY FEATURES: To 15cm SL.
