General Information

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE Philippines - ?New Caledonia; EXOTIC EXOTIC Fiji - French Polynesia

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Polynesian, Naturalised; S.Group - widespread; N.Group ?; Land, coastal to mountains; under leaves or decaying wood, in fissures of basaltic rocks

KEY FEATURES: Very small and dark. SHELL variable; short- to long subcylindrical, ±2 outer whorls enlarged; epidermis rough and gransular; lip dark; parietal teeth 2, elongate, ±3rd tooth near columella; palate teeth variable.
