SIGNIFICANCE NOTES -
POSITIVE SIGNIFICANCE: Biocontrol - recorded 1953. Comments: "Dryinid parasite" on Taro Planthopper (Tarophagus prosperpina)1953. "Dryinid larvae" found attached to Delphacid Planthopper (Delphacodes muirella) on Sweet Potato, Rarotonga. (Walker & Deitz 1979).
GENERAL NOTE: Dryinid larvae ectoparasitise Hemipteran adults including members of the Cicada and Planthopper families.
