SIGNIFICANCE NOTES -
POSITIVE SIGNIFICANCE: Biocontrol - released 1950. Comments: Trissolcus basalis (syn. Microphanurus) suggested for control of Green Vegetable-Bug (Nezara viridula). Trissolcus sp., origin Egypt via ?New Caledonia, released 1950 on Mangaia (4 adults only), probably not established (Walker & Deitz 1979).
