SIGNIFICANCE NOTES -
POSITIVE SIGNIFICANCE: Biocontrol - released 1928. Comments: Reared from Black Citrus-Aphid (Toxoptera spp.) on Sweet Orange 1975. Reared from Cotton Aphid (Aphis gossypii) on Taro 1975 (also associated with Aphid colonies on Cucumber). Origin possibly New Zealand, first liberated Rarotonga 1928, known to be established 1960. (Walker & Deitz 1979)
