POSITIVE SIGNIFICANCE: Biocontrol - released 1927. Comments: Introduced to parasitize Fruit Fly (Dacus melanotus), origin Honolulu liberated Cook Islands 1927; origin (Suva) Fiji 1937. Not known to be established. (W&D79).
