General Information

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE China - Taiwan; EXOTIC EXOTIC at least Micronesia, Cooks

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Naturalised?; Land, horticultural

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: Biocontrol - released 1974

KEY FEATURES: Uniformly yellow-brown to red-brown ladybird, to 4mmBL.

SIMILAR SPECIES: Rodolia breviuscula [in Micronesia, but not presently recorded in the Cooks] colour similar, separated by detailed examination of various structures.
