SIGNIFICANCE LIST: ; Pest???

SIMILAR SPECIES: Cardiocondyla nuda, distinguished by: being darker overall, its densely puctate and opaque thoracic dorsum, subcircular petiolar node and banding at the posterior end of the gaster. C. emeryi is; lighter overall, has a sparsely puctate thoracic dorsum, a longitudinally elliptical petiolar node, and less obvious banding at the posterior end of the gaster.
