COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Naturalised; Land, Disturbed Lowland forest, Mangroves, Domestic; arboreal, nesting in trees, shrubs and buildings

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: ; Pest???

KEY FEATURES: Worker to ~1.5mmBL. WORKER::: BODY smooth, glossy and bicoloured - pale brownish-yellow with dark brown head and abdomen (=gaster). HEAD dark brown; EYE with ~10 facets; ANTENNAE terminal segment longer than adjacent two combined. WINGLESS QUEEN:::
