General Information

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Naturalised; S.Group; ?; Land

KEY FEATURES: Slender beetle, 8-11mmBL. Uniformly pale brown body, wingcovers, legs and antennae.

SIMILAR SPECIES: Sessinia livida is larger, 12-19mmBL (vs. 8-11mmBL); uniformly brown (vs. uniformly pale brown); important - jaw tip has one tip (vs two teeth at tip).
