BIODIVERSITY: Locally endangered. Comment: NBSAP - Mangaia (2= of 4 wild)
POSITIVE SIGNIFICANCE: Medicine, Material (Wood). Comments: MATERIAL: Good timber, orange coloured, lasting, hard though with a close, twisting grain making it difficult to work.
